as an adult. I never had a personal relationship with my aunts and uncles after i was 15 or so, All communication went thru my mother including wedding invitations when I was an adult living in my own home. I have never called then or received a call from them. I am now in my 60's. any comment on this? Should I have done something years ago or should they have contacted me as an individual. is it too late my uncle is 90 and my aunt just died

No go ahead. That happens to a lot of us. Everything went through my mother when she was still alive. I continued the relationship with aunts and uncles after she was gone. It wasn't too late.

It is never to late to let someone know that you care. Pick up the phone and call them tell them you were just thinking about them and all the time that had went by and didn't want to waste anymore. At 90 your uncle wont be around forever and with loosing his wife might need to know someone is there that cares.

Plzz don delay in expressing your feelings for them..
