First off, I am sorry about your loss and I hope you feel better. greiving is a natural process dont try to speed it up because it can cause problems for you down the road. Just try tyo understand that it is a fact of life. Death happens it is natural, but insted of thinking about his death, think about how much fun you used to have and i know this has probably already been said but "Remember the good times" This will help but it will not fix it. If you have a psychiatrist at school just talk to one of them for a couple of minutes. Often you just need to talk about it and have sympathy from another human being. Good luck on your greiving process. Dont resort to alchool or any other stimulants. I hope you feel better. If you need to talk you can email me and I can give you some more suggestions. Dont be afraid to ask for help at times. These are the times when everyone needs it.

My Grandpa died on October 12, 2002. A day after his 79th birthday. So i definately know how this kind of pain feels. Sometimes, cheering yourself up isn't the best thing to do right away. You need to break down first, let yourself cry, admit that you miss him. There is nothing wrong with crying. Believe me. Sometimes you have to feel sad for a while, wear a little black..be a little down and out before you can be yourself again. After you have morned this loss for a few days, then just remember to have fun and live you life. I'm sure that your Grandpa wouldn't want you to be sad forever. Do things that make you happy. And you'll see that you'll feel better in no time.

You can try to remember some of the good times you had together and remember that he is watching over you!... Also remember you guys will be togeher one day... If you prefer to take your mind off of it do things like get involved in a book, go out with a friend, or maybe just find someone to talk to.

Think about the good memories you've had with her. Focus on how she lived her life, the people she helped to make a difference with and things she enjoyed and cherish those things, not how she died.

There is nothing I can say to cheer you up, just letting you know that I care.

Unfortunately it's not something you can just cheer up after. It takes time and suffering.

try to remember all the things you both do and his stories as he taught you lessons... i'm sure he wouldn't be happy if he sees you so sad... wear a beautiful smile on your face and think of your grandpa...
