When I first saw my husband I went home and told my two kids I just saw the man I'm gonna marry. I didn't even know his name I saw him and fell very deep in love. We were married 26 years he passed away last year. Our love was like that everyday. And now my life has stopped.

LOL! When I first met my husband, I thought he was gay. I continued to think that for close to 3 months. You would never believe the surprised look on my face when he asked me out. Needless to say I was speechless at first and when I finally did speak I blurted out "Aren't you gay?" I was so embarrassed. Lucky for me, he proved he was far from it!

That he was the most gorgeous, wonderful guy I had ever seen and that I was lucky to just know him ... pretty much the same way I still feel every time I look at him.

Honestly, I thought he was the biggest jerk I had ever met in my life!!! He was bellyaching about how the church activities we went to were never well planned out, and doing it to the whole crowd. So, I tell this woman standing next to me my opinion of him....she turned out to be his sister!!!!
Obviously, my opinion of him changed...somewhat. He can still be a pretty big jerk when he wants to be...LOL

i first met my husband in high school. i thought he was cute, but he was really quiet and shy and a little bit dorky -not my type at all (i was going through my i-only-date-big-dumb-football-players phase)
we actually didn't start dating until the summer after our sophmore year in college

Lust! He is soooo handsome, and I wanted him right away, but it didn't happen until about 2 months later. Now we have been married for nine years, and it is still as good as it was when we met.

I was wasted the first time. Only remember that he payed our bill. The second time... as soon as we sat down I knew instantly that I was going to marry him.

I thought he was weird. We met in elementary school though- the opposite gender is always weird.

He's my ex, but I thought, "He had bad acne, has a horsey face and those wrists are too thick!" But we had been riveted to each other in conversation...
Well, I won't date another guy with thick wrists again, I tell you! LOL
