I shipped my stepson's computer to him when he moved away to school. The package was mangled. After examination they have "approved the claim" and will repair rather than replace. I'm wondering what they base their numbers on.

shippping companies will do what is most cost effective, it would be cheaper for than to repair it that to replace it
