it all depends on what you're doing, you need to be a bit more secific. But if you just mean in general, I say go with demi permanent colors. They have the same benefits as permanent but they don't have amonia & other harsh chemicals so they don't cause much damage

Feria or Hydrience. I find the colour is nicer for longer and it doesn't dry out my hair as badly as some others.

I like Herbal Essence or Garnier Fructise! I think I spelled those right. They have great color and the conditioners are wonderful.
