I am going to put this one on cut and paste. Never use a dog or human product on a cat unless you have been specifiably instructed to do so by a vet. Cats metabolize things differently than we do.
I have found flea collars pretty worthless. The fleas just move to the other end of the cat. The herbal ones smell nice but do bupkis. If you can't find pet supplies where you live why don't you try the wonderful world of internet shopping. Petsmart has a website. Or try these people--www.drsfostersmith.com/ I've ordered from them and been happy. They have many many anti-flea things and you can call the customer service line and discuss which one would be best for your cat. I sound like I have stock in the place but they have been very helpful to me and Lucy C. Tabby. There are other places. Revival Animal Health www.revivalanimal.com/ seems to be more for breeders with large orders but they sold me 2 bags of cat treats once without a problem.

No flea collar is safe. The insecticide is too concentrated close to the face. They don't work either. Never use any dog product on a cat. Their needs are specific to their species and you can harm your cat.

Advantage has been in use for ten years. It is 100% effective unless you have a serious infestation in your house. Get it from the vet so that you know the right dosage for your cat. Afterwards you can probably find it cheaper online.

Flea collars DO NOT WORK. Don't waste your money or put them in your vacuum cleaner so the fleas die in a bag when you vacuum.

You should not use dog flea collars on cats. In fact, I wouldn't recommend any kind of flea collar at all because 1) flea collars have an unpleasant smell that will soon cover your cat entirely and 2) they generally don't have break-away devices that allow cats to get out of their collars should they get their collars stuck on something. A better way to control fleas is to use the anti-flea product Advantage. Just a few drops on the back of your cats neck every month and he will stay flea-free without the nasty collar smell or the chance your cat will hang himself.

The cat could likely sense the want to ascertain authority and protect itself. no matter if it truly is a delightful cat...it would not pay a lot interest to the pup yet more effective to the persons. yet a foul (or holding) cat could likely lunge out on the pup. before everything, the pup may be scared. yet ultimately this can turn to play, then annoyance, and finally the pup will boost and larger and larger dominant. yet when the cat injures the pup, the pup would boost to concern the cat no count number how huge the pup. also, how a lot will the workers protect the cat over the canines? which will play a large position contained in the dogs self assurance. there is not any effortless answer because a lot performs on the breeds of the canines, cat, personality of the workers, and style of surroundings. If both breeds are human beings pleasant, danger is they receives alongside tremendous. A organic surroundings with smooth hues also facilitates.

No. It is not safe.

Buy Frontline Plus for your cat. Donate the puppy flea collar to the humane society; help your cat, help a homeless puppy & claim a deduction on your income tax for a charitable donation.

Everyone wins!

No it absolutely is NOT safe. The chemicals on it are poison to cats. Collars are pointless anyway, get frontline.
