I have never known an atheist to adopt religion, unless it was stipulated in a will with an inheritance of several million dollars pending.

Fist they need to prove they were Atheist. They could do this by giving an accurate discription of what an atheist is. Most of the ones that claim they cannot do this. Specfically Jon(Godsci).
C.S. Lewis also does not even know what an atheist is. So how can he claim he ever was on?
Josh McDowel is an idiot. I would rather he be a Christian than an atheist. The others mentioned above I have no challange to(I think they were Atheist at one point.)

That would be odd considering an Atheist denies existence of any God. More likely that someone such as my self (Agnostic) would find religion. I only doubt the existence of a God but could be swayed if I felt there was something realistic to base the belief on.

Theologian C.S. Lewis used to be an atheist. He was brought back to the faith by his author friend J.R.R. Tolkien, who was famous for writing the "Lord of the Rings" series.
Author Josh McDowell used to be an atheist until he read the Bible while trying to disprove it.
Journalist Lee Strobel was also an unbeliever and tried to disprove the Bible, which made him a believer.
Simon Greenleaf, one of the founders of Harvard's law school, also tried to disprove the Bible and ended up a believer as well.

The opposite. I was christened a Catholic, spent 12 years at a Uniting Church school, and now classify myself as a secular humanist (atheist). I cannot see myself turning to religion now that I have seen the light.

I was raised Methodist but as soon as I found out Santa didn't really exist, I made a quick mental calculation and became atheist. Mom thought I was just going through a stage, but that was 15 years ago...

I am now a Christian
Keep in mind that people are not born christian. They may be born into a Christian family but they must learn and develop their own faith. So in some ways every Christian was of no faith and then became a Christian. Atheist are simply those who never learned, or at least never understood it.
