Sin is a deliberate thought, word, deed, or omission contrary to the eternal law of God.

I have never heard that effeminacy was contrary to the eternal law of God.

With love in Christ.

No, being effeminate is not sin. After all, what is manly in one culture is un-manly in another.

Being homosexual and being effeminate are two different things. Some people associate the two. This is sad, and alienates/categorizes a group of men who can't help the way they are. Sodom and Gomorrah was filled with men who engaged in bizarre sexual practices with men and women, and this, combined with their rebellion against God and crimes against innocents, is what condemned them to death, not being effeminate.

It is if you believe it is, otherwise it isn't. Sin is subjective. What may be a sin for you may not be for me and for others, so I guess we just have to vote on it. If it passes, we need to let congress know the results of the vote so that they can pass a law to make it a crime.

According to the Bible, yes, it is. It was one of the things God saw in Sodom and Gomorrah. And according to the original Greek version of the Bible, it wasn't "homosexuality" it was "effiminate men" that was the reason Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed.

In general, though, I don't think it is. It's just an arbitrary character trait.

For women or for men? In any case, we have to be in touch with our femme and masculine sides. Don't be so obsessed with sin. Just be good toward your fellow man (and woman), and you will be okay.
