Deer brains.
When I was a kid and my dad would get a deer during deer season, he would put the brains on a plate and let them set there for a few days 'curing'. Then my mom would scramble them in eggs for him.
I hated having to reach into the fridge!!! It still freaks me out thinking about it!

I just remembered that I have a dead hummingbird in a plastic container in the freezer. Some think it is gross. I kept him cause he was so pretty and I thought someone might want him for tying flies for fishing or school projects. But he is still in the freezer - waiting.

I was cleaning out the fridge the other day and there's a compartment in the back that I decided a long time ago not to use, because I always knocked things down when I try to reach to the back.

Anyway I was cleaning everything out and wiping down and I thought 'eh what the hell, I'll clean the freeze compartment too.

Inside I found something wrapped in foil, and it stunk to high heaven. Ended up to be a piece of meat that was all rotten and covered in gunk. It stunk so bad It nearly made me vomit.

By the way, if you're wondering the age of the meat, I've been a vegetarian for over 2 years now...

I had one of those cans of dought that pops when you open it. It was all the way in the back at the bottom. On really hot summer days my fridge doesn't work too well. I guess it was one of those days when the can exploded and I didn't notice. I found it some time later it was all dry, greasy, and covered in a rainbow of mold. I know it sound impossible but if you saw it you would understand.

The oldest thing we found in our fridge was unopened salad dressing from our wedding...it was 10 years old. It has since been tossed.

The oldest thing I ever seen in the fridge is the 87 year old drunk from next door. He came over and tried drinking me and my mate's box of wine. he's funny though, so he can hit up my fridge anytime. He's teethless so thats gross, hence, old and gross!!

Actually I wasn't sure what it was, it looked like a bowl of a million peas then as I looked closer I noticed a seed in the center. That's when I remembered about our taco night and the guacamole....mmmhmmmm that's what it was 3 weeks later.

When I was single and living alone, I once found a bag of greenish-brown liquid in the back corner of the vegetable crisper. I don't know what it started life as...lol
