yeah, my wallet just got stolen this afternoon. I have a flight because I'm done w/ my internship and leaving the city for good this coming Friday.
The only ID I have left is my work ID card and my school ID card, which, incidentally, I always carry around w/ me on a lanyard.
I don't have a driver's license or anything of that sort any longer. I don't have any of my credit cards so they can verify I am me.
Do you think a work ID is enough? I doubt it, because this one time, I showed up @ the airport w/ only my school ID and they refused to give me a ticket, until I found my driver's license.
What do I do?

try and see if you can get a certified copy of your birth certificate, and bring anything you have with your name on it, even utility bills

If you cannot present sufficient identification, when you get to the terminal, explain your problem to a ticket agent.

You can be permitted to board if you undergo a complete security check. Expect them to open up your luggage and pull everything out, pat you down, etc.

It is an ultra-high level of security, so you should arrive at the airport extra early so you don't miss your flight.

Did you file a police report? If not, I would call the police right away. Perhaps there is something they can do to help you, such as call the airport and have them set up a pass question with you?

Call the police, we pay them for stuff like this!!!!

Call the airline you are flying on and explain the problem; an official can give you advice. And of course, call the police -- you can get a copy of the incident report.
