Sounds like she's a very controlling mother, and this guy is a mama's boy.

Sounds like someone has some growing up to do. I'd steer clear of him until he can tell his mother that it is his life and he doesn't want to have children until he's 35 and established in a business and has a home and cushy bank account.
I don't know... but maybe he's interested in "trying to make that baby with you". He may be just interested in getting in your pants.
I'd advise you to get an education and don't start having kids until you are married and on the other side of 30.
Kids are expensive. By the time you are 30, you'll have some life under your belt. I'm sure this guy that you're talking about won't even be remembered by then. -
Good luck!

He sounds like he is being controlled of his mother. It also sounds like he is only with you to have a child.
Two people should only have a child if they both want one and both are ready for one.
If you would like a child then have one but do not have one just to make the in laws happy. It has nothing to do with them.
If I was told I was only hear for my Nan then I would not be happy and would think that I wasn't wanted

If he is only interested in making mom happy then he is no good. Shouldn't he say "I would love to have a child and I know it would make my mom happy too"

Ha! You and I must be dating the same guy. Well not anymore I got rid of him. Probably would have left me as a single mother anyway. Watch out, he's probably trying to trap you into staying with him forever. Kind of like girls who think that if they get pregnant he'll stay with them forever. Demented people are everywhere.

Strange guy. Does he not have a mind of his own? She's not the one who will be bringing up the child so has no right to put pressure on her son to make her a grandmother again.

Hmm I would steer clear to be honest. Having children shouldn't just be about making someone happy, they should be happy that you two are together and anything that happens should be a bonus. I'd be very sad if I felt I'd have to have kids to make my folks happy.

Tell him to p*** off. For your own sanity, please, who want's a man who allows his mummy to make his decisions?
Find a man who has too much to do to even think of having a child for the time being. Then when you do have a child it will be right and good, and have a genuinely contented Grandma.
