Teaching them to hate? You must be kidding. The Jews in Israel have had to fight even before Titus destroyed most of Jerusalem in 70 CE!! Even the bible calls Israel home of the Jews. Muslims have sent in suicide bombers, killed their children, taken there land and who is teaching them to hate? If you were afraid to go to market because of suicide bombers you may learn to hate because the killers make it so. Jews have to fight or they will again be persecuted. Hezbollah took two soldiers on Israeli ground!

i don't necessarily think that that is entirely true. i recently saw a documentary on FreespeechTV about how many citizens of both sides realize that the war is stupid, and on one particular occasion, a very large number of muslims and jews got together and marched against the war. there are also SOLDIERS from both sides that have refused to continue fighting.
there is a lot of hate between the two parties, but our corporate media likes to perpetuate war, in order to make money and advance the agenda of the government.

Why not rephrase the Q's --- Is it right that the leaders of the G* countries inspire the world to live in fear of everyone, because they might blow us up in an act of terrorism...creating a generation of people living fear. They are looking for an excuse to justfy their meddling in other sovreign nations business for economic profit...not good will. Massive atrocities are being commited all over the world...no ecomic resorces to exploit=no UN intervention. Who is being civilised here?

Do you really think it's civilized that Arabs purposely slaughter Israeli children, women, and the elderly? Israeli children don't have to be taught to hate muslims...they can just look around and see what they've done.

I don't find anything, or anyone, in the Middle East "civilized". They've all been trying to annihilate each other since Biblical times. I say, let them all blow each other up and get it over with already.

Anyone who teaches children to hate others is absolutely uncivilized! Why would they do that? Children should be brought up free of prejudices against others...In time and by their own experiences....they'll learn who is nice and who isn't.
