When I was younger I use to wet the bed alot. My mom took me to the doctors and he had no clue how to stop it, and suggested a therapists. I went to a therapist for a few years, and was told that it was due to stress I was teased alot in school and abused at home. My therapist helped me out alot, although it was more like seeing a friend and playing. Within a year I had stopped wetting the bed.
You may not need a therapist. I know there are new drugs on the market for kids that wet the bed and some for over active bladders, so you may want to talk with a doctor you trust first.

I'm not to sure how to stop this but just to let you know you are not the only one who has went through this im 16 also and can say the exact same story as you including the part about your parents
my bedwetting has slowed down for about 3 or 4 years now well sometimes i get a mistake every now and then
you said yours has started back, sometimes that can helping when you are stressed over something or maybe not gettin enough sleep try to relax before going to bed, also make sure you're not too cold before you go to sleep
for some reason sometimes that has gotten me when i was just to cold to move i guess

My cousin wet the bed until she was 14 then suddenly once she turned 17 she started wetting the bed again. It was discovered that she had diabetes. You may also have a smaller than normal bladder. While the rest of you grew your bladder stayed small and now you have trouble controlling it. Until you can get to a doctor look into wearing those goodnights underwear. They will protect you against leaks if you have them. As soon as possible get to a doctor though. You could have a very serious problem.

You could have very weak bladder muscles which are definately not your fault. Or, you could be a sound sleeper and just don't wake up when you have to "go," which also isn't your fault. Dairy foods are sometimes the cause of bedwetting - it can be an allergic reaction to dairy, even if you've never had any other reactions. The dairy thing was my problem, and like you I was in my late teens before I even tried that route and it worked. Caffeine can also be a HUGE problem because it is a diuretic and a bladder irritant. So don't drink caffeine before bed. Good luck!

You need to see a doctor & be checked for conditions which can cause this problem. My father wet the bed until he was almost 30 years old. Despite that, he spanked all his kids who wet the bed. Spanking just makes the problem worse. There are treatments and medications now.

Dont drink anything an hour prior to bed. Go right before bed. You could even set an alarm for like every 2 hours through the night, to get up and go. Then you will be training yourself.

My 14 year old finally quit one year ago, make sure you get to bed early, so that you are not over tired and sleep through the urination urge, of course try to empty your bladder before bed and limit fluids 2 hours before bed time, you could have just a small bladder, try to pee a bit and hold it, pee a bit and hold it, to strenghten those bladder muscles.

You could be sleeping too soundly , to wake up..I know there is medication ,your doctor would know about..you need to be open and honest with your doctor about your problem, so he can help you.. The problem could be emotional... It could happen when you are up-set about something., There are medications that can help your problem(bedwetting)..There are many that have a problem like you, don;t let it get you down, when you can be helped..
