Dhyana what do you mean "no mind". Yes, I know about having a still quiet mind, Yes I have experienced it to a degree, 30 years ago God woke me at 2 am and imparted to me that "the mind is not for thinking, the mind is for receiving thought".
I find that it takes practice to still the mind so that gods inspired word can arise from within. God is the thinker, we should be still an listen. Be still and know that the kingdom of God is within you,Therefore "closet" yourself and ask God ??? I would call this "no mind" state "The thought free state" From LOVE , With LOVE, To LOVE. "Mu shin" in Japanese martial arts means "no mind". The idea is to react to an attack without the long process of thinking about what you should do. If you do need to think, you are beaten. Much practice with many moves gives you this ability...if you are capable of learning it. I have very fast reflexes from years of martial arts practice. At San Francisco's Exploratorium, there was a simple reflex tester years ago. I watched many people try it. Some young, athletic men had reflex speed of about 1/5 second. That was the best I saw until I decided to try it. My first attempt scored 0.04 second. The second was much faster, and the machine couldn't register any less than 0.01 second. When I achieve my combat mode, my foe seems to move in slow motion.

Both.
Your mind is continually chattering away to you about this, that and the other thing.
To experience "no mind" is basically to be able to bring this chatter to a halt. Then you can experience what it means to just "be"

This one is a challenge for me, but it's part of my meditation practice. To focus on my heart, to feel the connection between myself and the rest of the world, and to release the "pitter-patter" thoughts that make it difficult for me to concentrate or relax.
