I truelly feel sorry for you. I know how us girls can be around that time. I have 2 sisters so I can relate. But, I also have 4 brothers and I have to tell you that boys too go through mood swings during certain times of the month. I'm sure your sister probably says you annoy her. It will get better, hang in there.

Are you heterosexual? If you are then get over yourself now, don't wait until you're married to learn patience with a woman's cycle.
Do you have any idea how out of control your sister feels right now? She does not have a grip on what's happening to her and then you're getting annoyed and that hurts her, so it's a lot of negativity for a young woman to go through.
I had 2 older brothers to contend with and they certainly made my life pure hell, then the hormones came roaring through my body and I'd be calm one minute and a raging lunatic the next. To this day I will break things when I'm in a hormone rage. I'm not proud of that at all, but it always feels good at that moment. Then afterward, I ask myself, "What the heck was that? PMS???" Hormones are hell, for young men and women.
The greatest thing someone can say to me is, "Are you having PMS?" in a polite way. At first it annoyed me, but then I got in touch with it and when someone says that, I stop and think if that could be it and it's usually right. Like any problem in life we can deal with it if we can identify what it is. So that question helps me get in touch with what my body is doing and I'm not offended. Ask your sister if this method might work with her. If she says no, ask her how you can help her deal with her raging hormones when she's being crazy around you. Ask after her period is almost over though.
Side note: What really ticks me off is those people who say, "There's no such thing as PMS." I'm not sure if they're the same people who say, "There's no global warming," or "There was no such thing as the Holocaust." Denial won't make any of those things go away.
Good luck! And tell your sister that there are herbs out there to help her, I ran out so I don't currently have a brand name to recommend, but she can shop around and find something that will work. Most grocery stores have little Organic isles where the bottled herbs can be found.
Peace.

Dude it is a never ending problem. Best advice is whoever is old enough to move out first do it! Do your best to steer clear of her the first hint you get and stay away. If it is really that bad talk to your mom and ask about taking your sister to the dr. There are drugs out there now that help the mood swings. Good luck

LOL sweetie, it's ok!!
Have you ever had yours? You'll understand her better when you do.
Periods affect different girls in different ways. Once she starts getting in to the swing on things, and she starts getting on a more steady schedule, she will be much better.
See, she's experiencing a fresh flow of hormones that have been latent for many, many years. Puberty is a very trying time, for the person going through it and the people around that person.
Don't worry--like I said, once she has a few and her system balances out, she will be easier to deal with, I promise!!!

I assume you are guy...FIgure that she will have these for about 40 more years; 12 per year. That is 480 periods. Make a chart for her with 480 boxes and check off one each month. Give it to her and tell her when the boxes are all checked, you'll start talking to her again, because you are unreasonable while this happening.
Rent the movie Carrie. That always puts things in perspective too.

Alot of it might be drama, not mood. Treat her like you always do, and if it's really the moods then you can help her through them and put them down to a dull roar. If it's the drama, she learns that it doesn't fly with you and hopefully it'll go away.
And if she looks up to you, act like you think she should, and it should get better. If it doesn't, ignore her.
Oh, and tell your parents that it might not be a good idea to play into her moods. It makes things miserable.

get her some of the pms pills, get her the ones called pamprin, the one that says 12 hour relief, it takes away the things that make you moody in the first place, like bloating, cramps, fatigue. anything that is left after taking the pill is just how she is, pamprin wont take care of her natural attitude...lol. good luck, they are like 5 or 6 bucks but the bottle will last for 2 or 3 periods. goo luck!

This is like a TLC Life Lesson. You need to learn to deal with it for the future. What are you going to tell your girlfriend or your wife that you "can't handle her mood swings"? I definately don't think so.
I recommend that you learn to deal, or learn to avoid your sister very well.
