It could be a friendly gesture of that he trusts you. He is looking to you for comfort or he may just imply it as a playful act of flirting. I know I don't want a guy touching me if I don't know him very well. I don't know if this applies to guys. I wish you would have put a little more information in your question. If my guy puts his head on my shoulder I know it's because he wants to snuggle or just be close to me. I'd say it was either A. Friendly gesture, B. Flirting, C. Wanting to be intimate or just close.

I know if I do that it's because I like being close to her, and I like her company and physical contact that's clean and you don't want to move to get a hug or a kiss or something. usually the guy will like the girl, or is just being strange.

guys dont really tend to do that. but we would only do that with someone that we are really comfortable with. so they have to like you a lot.
