Why is it that when someone tells you that there's billions of stars in the universe,
you believe them. But if they tell you there's wet paint somewhere you have to touch it?

because for a lot of people seeing is believing! Like GOD just because you can't see Him; doesn't mean He's can't there

Lets face it People have been spending billions of dollars and trying like crazy to touch those stars. Most people I know are skeptics and suspicous. They have to prove everything. The only difference is one is easy to confirm and the other is hard. Most people choose to believe something until they are able to find proof otherwise.
That is why there are so many athiests in this world. They don't have the ability to believe what they can see much less what they can not.

I don't touch wet paint...
I can see billions of stars, and if someone tells me there's wet paint around then I'm not going to touch it.
I may try to shove them into it though.. Ha.

I think that it is so, because you can't actually test out the theory of billion stars by yourself, but you can actually prove to yourself that the paint is wet.

Because the guy who did the painting is known to forget to remove the signs and never tells us when he did the painting. Its so frustrating

Because SEEING is believing.....we see the stars, but we cant touch cuz theyre far...yet paint..its right here.
