Howard....sorry but wrong decade and wrong generation. As I recall that's what a lot of people use to ask or say during the "60's. And yes, I was there.

It would be great but unfortunately I don't see it as being practical anytime soon. I'll give you this, if listening to any type of music once a day (me, I go for the Moody Blues...no pun intended) makes a person's world more peaceful I say go for it. Perhaps one day it will happen, but I regret to say, I don't anticipate it happening in my life time.

Miles is so great! I have been listening to him for years. Just to keep things fresh, Anyone with the extra scratch should pic up the Miles Davis John Coltrane complete Columbia recordings and the Miles Davis complete prestige recordings. They are two great box sets that have some of the best Miles Davis ballads. Not to mention all the great performers that play with Miles on these recordings as well.

Maybe. Other good peaceful songs may also help. Although for some, I don't know. Good music choice, though. I think I'll go buy a Miles CD and download some Miles on itunes. Take care

If everyone would ditch the Emo, Rap, Hip Hop, etc and listened to GOOD music, the world could be a better place.

I enjoy that music as well but a lot of people just can't stand that stuff. Maybe something from louis armstrong might be more universal, or just an instrumental piece.

Or if they listened to 'Wonderful World' by the great Louis Armstrong!

Calms the nerves and soothes the spirit every time I hear it!

I think that war would decrease dramatically if everyone had to listen to country music until they promised to stop fighting.
