The person who put the ball through the window.. whether it be thrown or hit... Unfortunately there are some who cannot afford to repair it, and/or run away from their responsibility...this is where insurance comes in.
If its a kid and they confess but cant afford it, be nice and claim it on your insurance and give the kid some yard work at so much $ an hour until the window is worked off. Not only will he learn a lesson in values but it will make you feel better too.

The manufacturer of the baseball? At least that is the theory behind suing gun manufacturers if someone is shot with a gun? I would think the more logical approach would be the person who Hit the ball. (unless there was someone who could have caught it and didn't in wich case there may be a case for blaming him especially if they intentionally didn't try)

Obviously the ball manufacturer. And the bat manufacturer. People are never responsible for a defective product like that. And try to sue the window manufacturer, too, if you have the time.

The person that hit the ball that broke the window seems like the one that is responsible to me.

Are you kidding? This is 2006. No one is responsible for their actions. The flight of the baseball was due to slavery, or the crusades.

Depends on the state. But seriously, don't you think whoever touched the baseball last should be responsible?

Hmm, i don't think of everyone's to blame for a undesirable ball breaking a automobile window. we don't understand the place the ball grew to become into meant to land. regardless of if, the ballpark possibly wont pay for the wear led to by ability of the foul ball so if the guy who owns the automobile does not have coverage, then which would be a topic.

Well it depends, if you are playing catch, then its the last person to throw the ball. But if you are playing baseball, it is the person who hit the ball.
