There are two thoughts to this question. First is yes if you want your child to read the Bible and understand what it is saying. As sex, murder, and mayhem are very much an interest to the younger crowd.

Second is NO....if you don't want you child to read of sex, murder and mayhem.

As like any book it has good and bad. It is about life and if you really think about it, life has not changed all that much in 2000 years. If we don't learn from our past .... we shall surely parish in our future.

So let you children read it. There are other good points as well as bad ones in the Bible.

It happened then and it happens now, just like homosexual acts and prostitution. If we raise our kids responsibly we inform them of what is out there in the world, and how to keep themselves from them.
