Honda, Toyota and Nissan are some of the best vehicle that one can buy Ford and any GM are pretty good if you buy them new and keep up with the maintenance I have heard that after 70k they start to become very problematic. They don't have a good record of holding their values

The best satisfaction is BMW for me. Really pretty car with an awesome high torque engine. Most of the BMW's are still rear wheel drive. I'll dry hump a M5.
My second favorite is Subaru. They invented the all wheel symettrical drive and the 4 individual shocks thats connected to the ecu in order to distribute the torque different to all 4 wheels. That will provide great handling.

Well I have a Volkswagen Touareg and have owned a VW Passat prior to this one. Besides filling my SUV with super petrol, I would say that I will always stick with German or European brands. I'm actually looking at a BMW M3 now or an Audi S4. Who knows, but them Germans do overengineer thier cars and they last forever !

My only wish is that the US car companies wake up and start importing the diesel models from there to here!

Honda because my 92 Accord has had little go wrong with it, and it has lasted longer than all the other cars I've owned -Toyota, Masda, volkswagon, Nissan, Ford, and Daewoo. The Honda dealer has always been able to get me the parts and fix my car. When I take it in for maintenance they always give me a shuddle ride home or to work. My Accord has 250k on it and still going strong.

Ford Motor Company. Have never had a major problem with any of the Ford products I've had since 1972. Father was a Ford man too, since his first in 1938.

Worst car - Chrysler Cirrus with a Japanese engine. The car was fine - the engine was excrement.

Mine is a toss up between Chevy and Ford. On one hand I only drive chevy trucks. On the other hand I am on my third Mustang after the dicontinuation of the Camaro. I have gotten over 200,000 miles out of two of the trucks before I sold them running very well, 1994 model. 280,000 out of the 95 GMC and am currently at 98,000 uneventful miles on my 2003 Silverado. My Mustangs have all been toys and are a blast to drive. 2000-60,000 miles traded on 2003-68,000miles, traded on 2005 by far the fastest out of the box 5700 miles. All ponies were GT's and truck were350,350,5.3 liter v8 All vehicle driven hard with minimal issue, Mainly brakes, Oil changes, tire roatations, and Hot rod parts, lowering kits etc.... Money was usually spent on the fun stuff for them.

Best Ford and GM and Mazda. In Europe, Citroen and Ford.

Worst, an old Civic (but maybe was the age of the car). And VW, because nobody repairs them and they are expensive in Europe and the USA.

My Saab for uniqueness, sassiness, and value.

My BMW for pure pleasure.

My old Volvo for value and reliability.

I have owned 2 Fords and 1 Dodge and they were terrible to maintain. So unreliable.
