I do. I can't believe that they are passing off over-cooked for with teeth in it as healthy. I have eaten a complete lunch only 3 times out of 2 complete school years.

The food at schools is bad enough to be a health risk. I, by all means am not rich at all and the most expensive thing I've eaten only cost $20.00 or so. I am just saying that food at most schools is a health risk and is unsanitary.

As a teacher i find school food is absolutely disgusting and it frightens me that it meets the state's standards for nutritional lunches. I think we need higher standards.

No. Perhaps it is for Those who are Spoiled Rotten on Gourmet Cuisine. How many of You Reading this have been in a Concentration Camp, like Senator John McCain was ? Or What about the People in North Korea that are Eating Grass and Dirt to Survive ? This may come as a Total Surprise to those that are Rich enough to have a Computer,a Refrigerator full of Food, and are Morbidly Obese, and totally Ignorant of Starvation, but there are Millions of People that would gladly Eat what Self-Centered Arrogant People like You call "Disgusting"! When was the last Time You wondered where Your next Meal was coming from ? I Myself haven't, and I'm very grateful for it ! It is Your Type of Attitude that has caused so much Hatred to be Directed to those of us fortunate enough to have all that We could possibly want, as far as Complaining about our overly abundant Food not being absolutely Perfect ! You desperately need a Reality Check ! And You probably need to lose some Weight !

yes ma'am. In South Carolina, students serve themselves in a buffet line with a salad bar. You get to serve yourself. It was yummy!!!!!!!!!
On the other hand, In Hawaii, students have to do cafe duty, so many times students drop the food on the floor and they still serve it to the students w/ the cafe staff approval. Would you eat something that fell on the ground? The way that the cafe staff runs things in Hawaii is different. I bring my own food to school in Hawaii. Some children have no choice of eating lunch and breakfast at school especially the low-income families w/ free meals in Hawaii. These kids probably don't have food at home.
