Ah ha, a George Carlin question...no, they are meytally ill, so no sin...but at least they are entertaining themselves and from their point(s?) ov view(s?) are getting something done!

According to psycological and psychiatric studies, multiple personality disorders are so few and that they are not recognized as being a legitimate disease. Assuming it did occur though, it would not be considered a hostage situation, because there is only one physical human body involved. As far as being a sin, that's between the person and their god and not for anyone else to judge.

It is a hostage situation. I held Bob (one of my other personalities) at gun point for 9 hours until the police arrived and took me down. I was charged and sentenced for this, so I know first hand. I have also been convicted of domestic abuse against this same person.

Hahaha... that is rather unintentionally amusing. I don't believe it would be a hostage situation, but I would still call it a sin... As it is a sin regardless of who you are killing.
