I used to be very pretty, very thin, and always wore clothes that were very tasteful but still very stylish, and had a pretty good salary. Now, I've gained weight (from a medication increasing my appetite), it takes away from my looks, and i dress very plain (T and jeans). I am also unemployed because I used to get these panic attacks. So, how do I get this great, cute guy? I guess we are all superficial to some extent.

Don't let your happiness be in another's hand. Put that low cut top on and those jeans and walk with your head higher than anyone Else's. When you least expect it....Your PRINCE will find you... Don't be afraid of your sexuality, it's still there.

it is not about how you look it is about attitude. i have gained weight and felt depressed but then i had to learn to like myself and next thing i know i get hit on all the time by dudes for most guys sizes dose not matter it is how you are able to handle yourself and even though you gained a weight you can still dress cute and look good i know i do

Confidence. Men can read it from a few miles off. So, you gained a few pounds... some men like a thick chick. so you don't have a job... that's something you have to deal with yourself.. Always remember you must first love yourself in order to love anyone else, and if you spend your life loving nothing, nothing will love you back.

maybe you should try dressing better and getting a job.....and working out more....its not that guys are all superficial, its more that (well most of us) dont like girls who just let themselves go, and become, well, slobs. especially when they get even more picky about how their guys have to look. not all of us are ever going to be tall and have 6 packs.

I didn't get the invite to your "pity party".... When I feel down, it's because I've chosen to feel this way. Start doing things to feel better about you....if that pans out... the guys will notice. Smiles are sexier than frowns.

Get back to the nice clothes and the job helps you. Take chances and approach the guy you like forthright. >:/

well. if u havent noticed. guys look for looks nowadays. u know. guys are pigs. and u too. u shouldnt have to look for a cute guy either. u should get to know somebody whethere they are hot or ugly. its personality that counts not looks.

don't get disheartened, wat if u hav gained weight & dress plainly, wat matters is ur beauty of heart.i know tis wil seem to u too philosiphical but believe me tere r men out tere who wil love u fr wat u r rather tan dislike u fr wat u r not.love is a very pure & divine feeling & i does'nt give a dime to ur physical appearence,bt it is more abt mental compatibility betwen two people,so don't worry u wl get ur rite man soon & jst one last thing don't let ur self confidence run low b'coz ur self confidence wil radiate a charm of it's own & create a n aura of attraction about u.
