why there are grasshoppers .. why there are bees ..
why there are monkeys .. beers .. horses .. lions ..
why there are humans .. why there are galaxies .. atoms ..
why there are politics .. computers .. internet .. economics ..
cars . mixers . concrete pumps .. elevators ..
shopping centers .. schools .. hospitals .. for nothing?
all of these for nothing .. can it be ?

You know, if you leave humans out of the equation you can do away with a lot of your "whys." But then there'd be no one around to appreciate the bees and the lions. It's a real stumper. Maybe if there were LESS humans that didn't get so consumed by their own belief systems, we could have a symbiotic relationship with our planet instead of polluting it to high heaven. What was that line in an old Eagles song? "Don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy." Ya gotta let go a little bit. It's not all for nothing -- it's already something.
