I heard that Mel Gibson was Jewish before he made Passion of the Christ. Is this true or just a rumor?

I am jewish and by jewdar calculations Mel Gibson was never a jew.

Are you kidding me? he's not cute or articulate enough to be a jew.

Who?

Oh, yeah, that dude who starred in a bunch of somewhat entertaining movies in the 80's/90's then became a director and producer.

Who cares what his religious background is. Why is it important how Mel Gibson worships god?

Love your avatar. I enjoyed Mel Gibson in Braveheart and Ransom. I enjoyed Bruce Willis in Die hard and Pulp Fiction. yet there are a brilliant sort of alternative video clips the place I enjoyed the two of their performances.
