Beta version is not demo version. It means the software is under consideration and development. So if Microsoft Office 2007 is in beta version then it will not be released as full version untill its full version
And i think it will not be available till January 2007.

No. I would not fool with it. Either buy it or get something like Ubuntu. If you know someone in college.....ask them if they will buy it for you at the school book store. Some schools have deals with Microsoft. Back when I took some classes from Liberty University- I bought XP Pro and Office Pro through the bookstore for $12 each. It was legal, and I still have it. The only downside is that you can only install on 1 computer.

Download the BETA version fi you really want it but first set your BIOS date back about five years. Since the BETA expires when your BIOS date reaches a certain point you will have five years of use. Setting back your date within Windows will not do the job. I know this works because I have tried it

You have to wait for it to be finished with testing. Then it will be for sale.
