I met someone online a week ago. We had good time talking on the phone for a few days. He then drove 5 fours to meet me, took me to a nice dinner, talked for long time. We really liked each other, at least I think. At the end, we went to a hotel, and spent the night together. I have never done this before. I thought I was just following my passion. But now I think I am insane, especially since we didn't use condom. What do you think? Is my behavior normal?

Who are all of the people judging you?
The answer is that this is a very normal thing - it actually goes on all the time. In fact, people spend a lot less time getting to know one another than you two did before hooking up. There are people meeting in college bars right now who will spend the night together. It's not unusual at all.
It may be unusual for YOU, but it is certainly not strange to be attracted to someone, then find yourself drawn closer by conversation, and then to act passionately on it once you feel safe around them. It sounds like you had a feeling about this person and you went with it. I say good for you. Follow your heart - you may get hurt from time to time, but you'll never get lost.
As for the unprotected sex, I don't think you need anyone to tell you how dangerous that can be. But the thing is, you've already done it - so agonizing over past decisions won't solve anything. You need to look forward and learn from your mistakes - if you are feeling like you should have protected yourself, chances are you will not make that mistake again. That's a lesson learned...and hopefully not the hard way.
Best of luck to you.

No, you're not insane. Dumb, perhaps, for not thinking a bit more carefully and making sure he used a condom--but not insane.
Get yourself to a doctor and get checked for STDs and AIDs--no matter how nice he may have seemed, he may have something and not realize it--and the sooner you get checked, the sooner you can start getting cured if he did give you something. You took a huge risk, and there's a price to be paid--you need to get checked out. I know it's easier to try to pretend it didn't happen, but that's a good recipe for much worse problems down the line. GO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TODAY! It could save your life.

Your passion may be normal but your behavior (not using a condom) is extremely dangerous!

This situation can happen again but girl, you have to protect yourself. Don't be shy to use a condom, it only proves that you are responsible for your sex life.
Sex is great and you can take better pleasure when you know you are safe.
