i have this tree growing in front of my house that we didn't plant... although we planted a cherry blossom tree there... these are nooo cherries. they look like some kind of 'apple.'

Take a small cutting to your local nursery. They can probably help you identify it. By the way, if they are crabapples, they are edible, but they aren't good raw. My neighbor makes a fabulous jelly with crabapples from our tree every year.

It does sound like crab apples, which i have eaten with salt, won't kill ya, but not good on the system, but my best advice is to bring them to a farmers makret and find out, and crab apples a re great for baking

Feed it to the dog. If he survives, then eat it.
Seriously, it's probably crabapples, which are not edible.

cut it up then put it in Ur mouth 4 about 30min. if Ur mouth Burns its NOT edible
if Ur mouth doesn't burn put it under ur tongue then keep it there for 45 min. then if Ur mouth bUrns don't eat
if it doesn't its edible.
wen ur doing this don't even drink the juice

the only way to find out is to try it...I mean it souds risky but just do it. Spit it out if it tastes bad. Good luck
