your dog is cool and don't have to be the loud mouth. LOL
don't worry about it. you have a nice natured dog. your dog will step up to the plate and take care of business if the moment arises.
A boxer??? and a female? and you are worried, please. your dog will wait patiently for something to happen and she will react in your honor, don't worry, she is fine.
She don't have to boast but she sure can show a sucka what she is about. :D

You on no account mentioned how old your dog was once or if you obtained her from anyone else. I'm not pronouncing this is the case, but there are some folks who reduce the vocal cords of puppies given that they do bark quite a bit and in case your canine is one like that it can't bark ever. I would take her to a vet. To peer if she has anything unsuitable in her throat. I do not need to scare you, but it surely would be throat melanoma that is preserving her from barking and best squeaking. I am hoping this isn't the case. I lost somewhat dog from cancer ,not in throat however her body. Unhappy!

Have you had this dog since a puppy?
If it's a rescue it could have been "trained" not to bark.
My poor dog was rescued from a guy that beat the dogs if they made a sound, therefore he has yet to bark.
Itcan be a sign of calmness and submissiveness

Of course it's normal, it tells you that your dog is a loving, and kind little angel, well, probably outside but that might not be true in your house. So please don't punish it, you know that it'll hurt it's feelings.And since it does that, that means that you are a pretty good trainer unless the dog ignores everything in it's outer world but is very quiet and calm in it's inner world which might be a problem.

what kind of dog? my dog is a basenji and they are a breed that doesnt bark. no joke, look it up.

maybe she hasnt discovered yet that she can bark. Mine was like that, she loved it when she noticed that she can bark too..LOL..
