I have a problem. I am in love with the most wonderful man on this earth. He is smart, funny, clever, sensitive, and thank God, straight! He is eighteen. And I am a minor. It started when we went on a trip to Spain in the same school group. He was a leader, I was a student. Over the rich two weeks I spent in paradise, I fell in like, then in love with him. Every moment I spend with him is like a moment in Heaven. But now Spain is gone, I am home, and he is working. I visit him regularly at his job as a lifeguard, but I, being the coward that I am, have failed to confess why I come. I don't know what to do! I have a feeling that he feels the same way, but even if he does, can I do anything about it? Is it legal even for us to see each other affectionately, even if we don't do anything (which I am not planning on doing!)? Just as a point of reference, I live in Oklahoma. Please help me!

The first step u need to take is tell him how u feel about him
that's ur begining point. If he doesn't feel the same, forget about him, but if he says he loves u too and you r SURE he is telling the truth, then go ahead.
My best friend used to date a 21-year-old guy and she was only 15, and as long as ur parents know about ur relationship and aprove it, everything will be ok...
I'm really glad u r not thinking about "doing anything else with him". That friend that I told u about before, well, that guy was "the first man in her life" and after she gave it to him, he broke up with her. So... if it comes to a point where u feel u r ready to do something else, just be sure that he truely loves u and respects u and of course, you feel the same!

In Oklahoma, you need to be 16 to have sexual activity with a guy over 18, if you don't want him to risk getting in trouble with the cops.
You should tell him that you like him, or at least hint at it, and see how he reacts. He probably likes you, too!

I have the feeling you're not telling everything. How old are you, and how old is he?
What does living in Oklahoma have anything to do with anything? Are you Cherokee? Have you consulted your tribal elders? wtf???
What are you afraid of? Do you love him? Does he love you? How do you know?
