my fiance and I foster dogs. We just got an 8 week old pug and she is acting as if its a newborn. holding it, feeding it, rubbing it, kissing it, talking to it. Is this any indication of the way she will nurture children when we decide to have them?

i think it is how she will nurture her own children when she has them.

Unfortunately no. As much as animals need love and nurturing, it doesn't even compare to your darling child who will talk back, sometimes hate you, defy you, and make you near crazy. but there are great days too, when you know you are on the right track.

lol It depends on if she "likes" children. Sounds great if she does.
