I can't believe this question is still being asked. Like it is some deep down mystery. They want to be treated the same as you would want to be treated. That is with respect and understanding. That they are important. They want to be loved same as you do. They want to be accepted for who and what they are. They want to know that their opinions are just as important as your opinions. That their feelings are just as important as your feelings.
