My parents always keep scolding on me.They always invastigate what I am doing.Even my personalities such as letters and all these, they look when I'm not at home.I'm 23 and I think I should have a bit of privacy. My daily routine is very simple. I get up at 6:30am and doing one exercise( Yoga, weight lifting, running, swimming and cycling ).After that I have to study until I go to school. When I come back from school, after dinner,I study again. But sometimes I use computer for entertainment (listening music, chatting with friends, surfing adults sites ). However, if my parents find I'm using computer, they lose their tempers and get angry easily. Am I wrong that I just use computer for 3 days per week and just for 2 hours each times? Is it a guilt to surf adult sites for 23 years old in that duration(2 hrs)? Before I use computer for surfing adult sites,I used to play computer games that they didn't like. They hate drinking. They even didn't like chatting with my girl friends online.

Whether you dig their rules or their views or not, when you live under their roof you are obligated to deal with them...if you aren't paying any rent or assistance to the household, you are even more at their mercy...
It's a situation of suck it up...or do what you need to do to get out on your own...then it won't matter...you can do what you please, when you please....

Some ideas:
1) Buy your own computer and password protect it.
2) Don't tell your parents what your online IDs are.
3) Erase the log of sites visited from your browser or find them through Google.
4) Install a lock on your bedroom door.
5) Tell your parents that you are an adult and they need to butt out--you're not doing anything illegal.
6) Move out as soon as possible. Even a dorm might be better.

It seems they are being a bit intrusive...but if you were my kid and looking at adult sites on my computer...I'd pitch a fit, too!!! You can get viruses and so forth from clicking on a lot of those sites-plus, I wouldn't want that trash in my home (at least not my KID, adult or no, looking at it).
Don't leave your letters at home...rent a locker somewhere for personal items (a lot of colleges rent lockers to students)-use the school computer for stuff (won't be able to look at porn, but you'll live-go get playboy). If they hate drinking, don't bring alcohol into their house...it would be rude to do so.
It's either that, or move out...which if they weren't like this when you were a kid, then they are probably trying to drop a hint...LOL
The fact is, you are an adult child living under their roof, rent free (presumably-otherwise you wouldn't stick around to put up with it) so you're just gonna have to grin and bear it-should only be another couple of years before you're done with school and you can kinda-sorta afford to get your own place.
I couldn't STAND living with my parents, so I moved out when I was 18-it was rough paying my own rent and tuition and I had to take time off from school to get by. It's just life. Be grateful you have a roof over your head (and hopefully free food!!!)
Good luck. If it were me, I'd probably go nuts dealing with that...I applaud you for your patience.

Since you are 23 I feel you are old enough to hear this.. its their house.. its their rules.. if you don't like it.. move.
I'm 26, and due to some unforseen circumstances, I'm back at home.. and I follow my parents rules.. I follow the rules about cleaning all the bathrooms each week, I follow the rules about emptying the dishwasher if it's full, I follow the rules about if my boyfriend stays over I have to sleep upstairs in the room across from my parents and he has to sleep downstairs.. why?? Because it beats living on the streets!!
Are you using their computer to surf adult sites?? Because my mom would put parental controls on it then, like she did with my stepdad when he was surfing adult sites on her computer.
Its their house.. so even if they are going into your bedroom.. its their house..
I agree that you should have some privacy since you are 23.. but they don't have to give it to you..
They don't have to let you do anything.. it's their house.. if you don't like it.. live somewhere else

i think you need to talk to your parents about your freedom in their house. It is really a tough place to be because you are over 18 and therefore an adult, but you are still living in their house.
If they have rules for you, because you are still living at home, you will probably have to abide by them. Especially if you are doing something they disagree with. Are you using their computer? If so, it's even more so their right to ask you not to use it.
I don't think they should investigate everything you do. You do need some freedom. But you really should talk to them about the rules of the house and where you stand in obeying them.
If you can't abide by their rules, you might want to consider moving out.

You are 23. You are an adult. If you don't like what they put your through in their house, then MOVE OUT. If you can't do that, then deal with it. You are under their roof and they are providing for you. It is their rules. Abide or get out.
I'm 23, married to my husband for 3 years. I would never go to my dad's house or my in-laws house and look at adult sites and expect them to allow that. Sorry...

I think that at 23 you are an adult and are letting your parents have to much control over your life. It may be time to consider moving out and getting your own place.

The problem isn't your parents, or you. The problem is that you're still living at home at 23! You want your privacy as any adult wants, and you want things your way, like any adult wants, but you're still living under your parents' roof. Move out. Get your own place. No excuses. This "living at home" stuff is way past time to get rid of, and therein lies your problem, like it or not. God Bless you.

You're a grown man, and you sound like you get things done. Parents are clingy. You just have to tell them to back off, that you need privacy. If they don't listen, you are 23, move out.
