Men are essential to the propagation of our species (and so are women!). They protect and provide for REAL women.

If women were to stop acting slutty and available, I'm sure that you'd find a whole lot more of the single men standing up for God's honor. But as life would have it... Temptation reigns.

They'd rather dial 911 and wait 45 minutes for the cops to show
up when theres a burglar in the house than protect their family from harm.

God's honor, or God's laws. I am not to judge anyone on this planet. That is God's law. They will be judged and dealt with according to his law. I can only stand up for my belief that God, The Father, is the one true God, and by his Son Jesus Christ I shall be forgiven and receive everlasting life in Heaven. I am not to go and defend his honor. I can speak the truth about the everlasting God, and others can hear and believe and be saved, or ignore and face the perils of their decisions. But How would one go about, defending God's honor?

The men who like to pretend they are standing up for God's honor tend to be men who want to kill in God's name, or limit the options and freedoms of 'their women,' or pass laws that infringe on the rights of others, or dictate how other countries should run while stealing those peoples' resources. spare us such godly men.

where is the christ-like man who will admonish anyone for distressing a child, who will eschew 'success' and 'honor' for a life of helping the poor and living among the rejected, who will have a woman sit at his right hand and acknowledge that it is far better for a woman to participate in the full life of society than to cook and clean to serve men.

i personally think that the day and time we live in people arent like they were back in the day.making kids go to church making them say their prayers before going to sleep asking GOD TO FORGIVE THEM FOR THERE SINS teaching them the ten commandments and reading the bible to them.theres no faith no more and now people coming with all these diffrent kinda religions like madonna people with out any church bringing are confussed becausethey dont know the word .any way to me a man is not a man if hes not a GOD fearing one.and i will not have any relations with him

I beg to differ. I have answered many questions today on Yahoo! Answers in defense of my faith and my God. To those that slander him, I believe they know in their hearts that Christians are different. They don't understand this difference, so they make fun of it. It is up to us as Christians on how we react. We can put our heads in the sand, or we can stand as bold witnesses and spread His Word.

Ahhh, no! I've got no problem standing up for my God. He has given me life and a reason to live. Why should I be ashamed of that?

Read Acts Chapter 1 and 2 and then you tell me who is weak and cowardly?
The men and women who have received the gift of the Holy Spirit exactly as documented in those scriptures? Or is it those who hide behind excuses and poor examples of others who refuse to give their all to God?
Don't tell me about hypocrites. I don't know any! Don't tell me about weak-minded people who are too pitiful to live life so they lean on "religion". I don't know any of those people.
I do know many people who live and work and sacrifice and pray and fast and give their all in God's service. I know people who kneel next to me at our altar and pray for others for hours until their eyes are swollen shut for the tears from the agony of their burden for the lost and struggling. I do know people who fast for days on end, yes, days on end, for people in the community who come to us for help as a last hope. Are Christians a cult? No. Are Christians weak and helpless? Again, hold that thought...
Do true Christians preach one reality and live another? No.
Would you know these people if you saw them in the store or at the movies? No.
But you would know them when they visit the old folks in the retirement homes and feed them because others are too busy. You'll know them when they gather around to pray for young women who beg for help and relief from "forces" they feel are controlling them. You'll know these people when they give every dollar the have until next payday when someone needs gas money to look for work or go to the doctor. And you'll know these people when they meet at the church for their hour or two in a 24 hour prayer chain for someone just diagnosed with cancer. Oh, and you'll also know them when the worship starts after the surgeon reports he has no idea what happened because he could see the masses on the X-rays and yet when he examined the effected organs by hand during the surgery there was nothing there.
Am I afraid to stand up and tell others that God is real regardless of the way the world views modern Christians because many modern Christians are not truly living for God? No, I'll stand up.
Is God, the living God, more real than any non-believer can even imagine and does it kill me to know the reason more people don't seek God is because so many who claim to be Christians do not live for God? Does that break my heart? Yes. Was I raised in a Christain home? No.
Did God Himself reach down and pull me from the very gates of hell thirty years ago? He did. Was I worthy of His compassion and love? No. Am I now? No. Will I ever be? No!
Am I ever thankful that He saw something in me, a hunger for truth, that He needs people to have so he can lead them to more? I am.
If you simply want to know if God is real or not, and will accept the answer from Him, He will absolutely prove Himself to you through the Holy Spirit.
Men, godly men (and women), are not afraid to stand up against the ungodly majority. Why? Because we were part of the ungodly majority at some point and we know what it's like to look for God and not be able to find anyone who is living for Him. I know what it's like to want to know the truth about God and not be able to find anyone who can tell me. I know what it's like to feel nothing but spite and contempt for "Christians". I was one of the "ungodly majority" until God noticed the hunger for truth in me and whispered my name.
