Corruption and desintegration, whereas the independent kingdoms in Spain (Aragon, Castille, etc.) united themselves and were determined to drive back the muslims out of the Iberian peninsula.

Because they used up so much energy spreading Islam all the way from Saudi Arabia, across to the eastern tips of China, down to Indonesia, up till some pre-russian countries, and down again to all the top half of Africa, that they didn't have enough energy to defeat Spain. Though there still are a large number of Muslims in Spain.

If you mean, back in the Middle Ages ... Islam had fragmented significantly by the time, and European powers (the Franks et. al.) had come back up to strength they didn't have when Muslims originally conquered Spain.
And ... to that other mocking poster ... if your God is _only_ a Catholic ... he's a fake ... Mammon himself, probably ... and you should be very concerned. The Pope does wear Prada, after all.

Eventually they all blew themselves up being Martyrs to Allah. Being a suicide Martyr is not a great career ladder. "Allah will keep the light on for them tho."
Black powder suicide belts back then were terribly expensive too.
