I married at 19 the first time...even though we'd known each other a year, it was a foolish thing to do. I was TOO young.
Don't be in a hurry...make sure this is a person you want to spend the forseeable future with...and that you've allowed yourself to live enough and have enough experiences and relationships so you won't feel like you're missing out on anything by not being single or available...
You'll know you're ready to be married when the idea thrills you more than scares you...when the idea of sharing life with that person full time is the most important thing to you...

I have been married for 19 years. It is a huge committment. My husband and I still love each other deeply, but it is not easy! Wait a little while to have kids too. I have two children. I waited and I am glad. My husband and I got to know each other and we were ready when we had them. They are a joy when you are ready.
Here are some general guidelines: Date for a minimum of a year, but I would suggest 2 years. Do not get married really young - be at least in your late 20's. Trust me, the 20's are the beginning of getting to know yourself. You really start to get a sense of yourself in your 30's and I have found in my 40's I am "very comfortable in my skin" so to speak... I would not go back to be younger for anyhting!

There'z no set time exept, when the two of you are ABSOLUTELY ready...
You know you're ready when you have NO doubtz or fearz about marrying this person and you're very happy to be with this person! Also, when you're financially responsible, I feel that countz too...

I was 32 when I got married. I never thought it would happen. But I did not want to marry just anybody either. I married when I was ready, you just know.

it depends on the person, if you thing your ready, like me i was with my husband only two months before we got married and it will be six months sence we got togather and 4months we have been married this august 19th. and its still going great! but you have to listen to your heart not your mind.

when the right one comes along, you wont have to even think about it........... when its right, its right
until then, just have fun and enjoy being single, do things that you might not be able to do once you are married

atleast a year or two....give yourself a chance to get to know him! Its a big decision...FOREVER...dont do anything in haste!
