If he is the one that done the breaking up then you ask him what the deal is?

Have you asked him why he continues to call you after he broke up with you? It could mean a couple things: He could be stringing you along, playing with your head, manipulating you. Or, he could be ambivalent about his feelings for you. Or he might be drunk. There are so many unknowns here like what are your ages? How long did you go together? Are you in high school or are you in your 30's? If your in your teens, I would chalk it up to immaturity. If your in your 20's or 30's, I think he is playing with your emotions. What I would do is not answer the phone when he calls. That should send the message that you are not someone he can toy with. Hope this helps.

1) He does not accept the breaking up or that you failed to be happy ever after together.
2) He hates you so much that he doesn't find another way to bother you as much as possible.
3) He wants to see if there's a chance to get back together.
4) He can't deal with not being together... he's got the habit.

Why do you answer??? (Think it over... cheers!)

It could mean a number of things. Maybe he is just so used to calling you all the time, that he is having a hard time breaking that habit. Maybe he misses you, even if he doesn't want to be your b/f. Or maybe he misses you and realizes he still wants to be your b/f. Good luck figuring it all out.

Maybe he is weighing his options. His pride could be involved. Maybe he broke up for some special something and realized it wasn't so special after all.
Since he did the the breaking up, perhaps he is hoping that you will ask him back again.

He wants to stay in touch with you as friends or he still likes you. Depends on the break up and situation really.

It depends on the relationship like what happened between you 2 for exaple : if u 2 had sex all the time then you are a total bootycall, but if you were serious about your relationship with each other then he still likes u.

It can mean a lot of different things. He could still like you, or he just feels like he needs a girl so he is using you. Or he could want the relashinship w/o all the connections or baggage like a friend w/ benifets. Why not ask him what he wants from you?

He still likes you, and can't let go. i'd move on though if he broke up with you then he sure don't deserve to have you back. There are better fish in the sea. Go for the better ones.

Ask him. Maybe he regrets breaking up with you and misses you. Just don't be a booty call.
