I recently went to the beach with my camera, and the sand got into my retrating lens. now its all jammed. What should I do? Thanks in advance :D

It might be cheaper to trash it. My so called better half loaned my Toshiba 2.3 gig to her sister and when I got it back, it had been dropped and the retracting lens didn't work (gears grinding and focus not working). Local camera co. (Click cameras) looked at it and said most camera repair starts around $200. Only payed $120 for it 2yrs ago and it used the no longer available smart card. So-o-o, bought a 6.3 (I think, 6+ any way) Pentax SLR for $ 599 with a $ 100 mail in rebate. Digital cams have come way down in price and I highly recommend getting an SLR one rather than a cheap view one. On the more positive side, if the lens will extend out as it should, you may be able to brush it real good and get the sand out that way.
