If you excercise you should get at least 1500 to 1800 calories to loose weight, 2000 to 2500 for vigorous excercise or to just maintain your current weight.

1000 calories is extremely low for an active person, you body will begin to retain sugar for energy causing other health problems, in addition to body fat gain, your body will begin to store up an energy supply. In addtion, your metabolism will decrease. I assume you are taking adequate liquids because yuou are at risk for dehydration and cramping.

You'd be better off with more calories, in a properly balanced diet, and a longer or more intense workout.

Eating calories gives you energy. But since you are so active you need those calories. Increase you calorie intake and get alot of rest.
