Hello friend,
I'm just looking at your question, and I am curious.

You asked about obeying "Jesus's teaching". That makes me wonder if you know His teaching. If you did, you'd know about John 14:21, a most relevant teaching of Christ.

And then, there is the capitalization of "GOD" in your wording.
That makes me wonder if you think or mean to imply that Jesus is not God? ... He is.

But if I've missed your point, I apologize. And to answer your question as asked, only one I know of and it is found in the last words of Luke 18:13 for one example.

Whether you obey His teachings, or whether you don't, you are a sinner in need of a Savior. He died to save you, and if you're Born Again, He evermore lives to make intercession for you. See Hebrews 7:25 and Romans 8 verses 27 and 34.

So friend, I'd strongly suggest that if you know His teachings, for your own good and for Christ's sake, obey them. And if you don't know them, learn and then obey them. It may be easier than you think. Look at Mat.11:28-30.

Finally, if you doubt me about anything I've said, that's ok. I'm just a man. But before you move on, read the last part of Acts 5:29.
Blessings,
2 Tim.2:7

God will always hear you. Saved or unsaved, you are still a child of God. How God responds to your prayers is entirely up to Him. It's always been that way, always will be.

For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:23

However, I highly recommend you DO obey Jesus's teaching. Jesus is a part of God. He is the Son in the Holy Trinity. He is also the one who can save you from eternal torment in Hell.

If you have not accepted Him as your Lord and Savior and are interested in doing so, please feel free to email me at:

I will also be glad to answer any other questions you may have.

I would say that if you're expecting and answer to a prayer, then you must have prayed and you are in fact obeying Jesus' teachings! So, the answer to your question would be a resounding yes.

Why is God jesus dependant?

There are plenty of religions out there that simply have no use for Jesus and they get their prayers answered all the time.

I say Do what you feel is right. God will still understand and answer you.

Probably not.

(Psa 66:18) If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear [me]:

If you don't obey Jesus, the Son who is equal with God, why would you ask God for anything?

God hears every prayer and answers acording to what we need for our eternal well being. We in turn need to live up to the light he has given us. "Those who love God keep His commandments" John 14:15

Jesus had a lot of nice things to say but he was just a person.

If you have faith in God then all will be well. Jesus doesn't matter.

I'm not actually sure, but he will if it is his will. But if you do follow him, and have faith you have a much better chance of getting your prayers answered.

No, god won't answer your prayers not matter what you do because god doesn't exist.
