My headache has been going on for about 2 weeks, It seems worse when I wake up in the morning or when I wake up from an afternoon nap. I moved about a month ago to a house just down the street from my old house. The outside of the house has some mold on it but the inside seems very clean. Please help me.

Hi Broncsfan-what kind of headaches are you getting? Do they feel like migraine headaches? If you have migraines, you get dizzy, nauseated, light bothers you (most people go to a room where they can try and sleep uninterrupted, close the blinds and the door and just wait it out-they last 24 to 72 hrs.
Or, if your headache is not a migraine, it could be a tension headache which is caused by stress, anxiety & depression and usually begin in middle age.
Or, you could be suffering from a cluster headache, which occur daily over a period of weeks or months. They are caused by degenerative discs in the neck, arthritis in the neck and anxietyThey may disappear and recur during the same season of the following year.
Those are the most common types of headaches.
Now, me-I have had headaches off/on since my mva in 2000. They have worsened recently and my neuro diagnosed the cause as the occipital nerve in the neck--my headaches always start at the base of my neck, go up the back of my head, then settle in my forehead and top of the head-they are migraine-like.
My pain mgt doc is doing injections end of this month, hopefully, to give me relief.
If your headaches become a factor in our daily living, you must see a doctor to get a diagnosis of what is causing your headaches and perhaps be given meds to take when you get a bad one. Good luck.

it could be caused by stress or how much you sleep, what you ate, how much you ate. from my expirences i had to go to a doctor and get some test done. maybe you should do that and see what is causing these headaches.
p.s. try to not be so stressed out and sleep normal hours and watch what you eat and how much.

Blow to the head.....knife stuck in side of head. Snorting to much hot sauce. Head stuck in a stump grinder....there are a lot of potential causes. Only you doctor can tell for sure.

Stress, not eating enough. If neither or these, go see a doctor, it could be something else.
