Here it is my bf's mom hates me she ,dress very sluttish,has 3 tattoos and told my bf she doesn't like me.He told me because he said that if someone didn't like him he would want to know.She really likes several of his ex girlfriends but not me his new gf.She told him that I am not his usually type.She doesn't like that I am so serious about life.By serious about life stuff like knowing that I want to go to college and become a lawyer,etc.Not serious like getting married.We are in hs.One of his good friends pointed out that to his mom good people give off bad vibes and bad people give off good vibes.I asked my bf on a scale of 1-10 how much it matters and he said 5 and that it doesn't matter that much.I mean I have never been anything but respectful to his mom ,plus she has only met me like 3 times andd only 1 of those times she really got to talk to me.The times I've been at my bf's house we have never done anything remotely inapporiate.ideas on getting her to like me,does it matter.

Some mothers will never like their sons girl friend no matter what. I was married for twenty years to a man that was really great till the day he died. his mother did not like me or our child. I learned to live with it.

Considering the lack of longevitiy of typical high school relationships, I wouldn't worry a lot about this situation...
...but I do wonder why you feel this guy's mom dressing "sluttish" and having "3 tattoos" has anything to do with her not liking you...sounds like you are trying to stereotype her to skew reader opinions and cause her to sound trashy (whether she is or not) and therefore her opinion should matter less...
...if she doesn't care for you, that's okay...not everyone will...just be nice and polite (and don't judge her on her wardrobe or ink, but on WHO she is) and it'll be fine...

i would get a new boyfriend. remember, the nut does not fall far from the tree. i dont think he should have told you she does not like you for it was hurtful. he hurt you and if he likes you, he would not hurt you. and dont say it doesnt matter, because we always care if we know someone does not like us, we feel bad. seriously, find a new person to have in your life. you dont need anymore drama in your life...other than being a regular teenager and you should not be worrying about some ho liking you or not. be happy and be cool!

It doesn't matter that she doesn't like you. In fact, by your description of her, it might even be a compliment. If you keep being nice to her she might come round. In the end, the only person who has to like you is you.
