I think there really are quite a number of people, but still quite a minority number amongs Hispanics who absolutely think they are going to take over. Politicians have even said some very interesting things.
However, since it is a minority, I can think of it like the Black Panthers or the KKK - you know, weirdos.
I disagree with deporting foreign nationals prior to serving their jail sentence, if that is what you mean. They need to do their time. However, after that, I think each and every one should be deported.
Other than that I pretty much agree, although I would say they can't bring in absent family except under existing quotas. I know many will want to. They say 1/3 of the illegals here today are family in some way of the ones who got amnesty in 1986. However, we cannot afford and can't take multiples of the huge number we already have.
However, that will mean going forward enforcement. It means no more 'don't ask don't tell'. It means a lot more deportations. I'm just being realistic here. I think we are in a major pickle. I just don't see a better way out.

No. Ever since the beginning of time the xenophobes accused every wave of immigrants of doing this. Here in RI for example, first the Irish were to blame, then the Italians, then the Lithuanians, then the Armenians, then the Laotians,Hmongs, and Cambodians, now it's the Centralamericans. As long as someone new keeps coming to the USA, they will never escape getting dumped on by the racists.

Oh dear ... well two things ... under our present immigration law, if you're a citizen, you're allowed to petition aunts, uncles, parents, siblings, children ... you name it ... so the aunts, uncles, etc., etc. will come in legally and petition more aunts, uncles, parents, siblings, children, step children, adopted children and what have you ....
Second .. big business is not too keen on amnesty actually ... if the illegals get amnesty and citizenship, they're not going to work for pittance ... hey, they're citizens, they want more molah ... big business wants illegals, or temporary guest workers ... they want to create an underclass of cheap labor ...
Personally I think it's rather heartless to the poor illegals to support this notion .... :) Much better to deport them and let them fill in the paperwork from their home countries ... wherever their home countries are ...

Well being I live on the border with a population of 80% Hispanic, its all hogwash!
I have lived here all my life and NEVER has a Hispanic or illegal talked of taking over America! Its just the ramblings of paranoid white America!
I have never met one card carrying La Raza member or a proponent of Aztlan....Its all lies and paranoia.....
In fact, the first I heard of it was on Yahoo Answers, La Raza and Aztlan....My husband is from Mexico City, the heart of Mexico, and he too has never heard of any of this....He tells me most Mexicans have no clue about this organizations.....It may be just a few radical Hispanics or Mexicans, but certainly NOT the majority, thanks for the question!
And Triple, your just one of those white paranoid Americans, get a life! I am just telling you my experience in my own border town....I dont know what it is like in LA i would never go there or visit the place, I am just saying what goes on here, where I live....

It takes 11 years to as simulate into a culture, Most Mexicans aren't interesting in becoming American, they want their cake, and the icing and Mexico too. If they were interested in being American then why take the drivers test in Mexican, schools ESL, everything is changing to accommodate the Mexicans, free medical, free school lunches, the list goes on....this is the only country that accommodates everybody Else's language, When I lived in France i had to go to french schools, when I moved to Germany I had to go to German schools, this county spends billions to accommodate illegals and Mexicans who don't want to as simulate. That goes too for other foreigners, but mostly Mexicans.

Yeah. I am not a big fan of conspiracy theories. Other than that, the rest of your argument is BS. No amnesty, enforce strict and stiff laws on the employers, the illegal aliens will have no choice but to take their asses back to where they came from.

People get uncomfortable when they feel someone is culturally different, their intelligence is in question (for them) There are allot of customs that are not mine that I embrace and hold dear. I was raised without any prejudice even though half my family is KKK,and the other half is Archie Bunker racist with a redneck twist. But it's obvious that a lot of peoples comfort Zone is being challenged.

hispanics legal or illegal are trying to take over the US. it's not so bad if they assimilate and blend in with other races. there should be a hispanic population control.
