Has anyone on here been recommended or been to a NYLC?

National Youth Leadership Conference. I think it's bull, but I just want to know, it worth paying over a thousand dollars for?

I have friends that sent their daughter to a conference at UCLA earlier this summer. Their daughter said it was "nerd camp", but I think anything to give them more exposure and experiences in life can only work to their advantage in the long run. (If you can afford it.)
