Its been a while since i did my taxes and have not yet recieved anything although my childs has already arrived. is there a number or anything i can do to ask about or resolve this?

You should have taken a copy of the tax return and there is the number to call on top of the form.
Your tax office will depend on who your employer is registered with.
I work in Reading but the tax office is up North somewhere.
