Yes I am very afraid of getting married to my boyfriend. We dated since highschool and I know if I met him now, I probably would not be interested in him. He is 22 and never had a job in his life. He is a great guy and a wonderful friend, but very spoiled by his mother. Now we get to spend more time together and I see how spoiled he is. Does not change toilet paper, eats all the food, does not wash dishes, throws garbage everywhere. In one word its all about him! I think his wife will be his servant. I do not mind hanging out with him, but unless he changes his habits and gets a job, there is no way I am moving in with him!

I am a female and no I am not afraid of getting married as long as I know it is the right person for me!

Female. I'm not afraid of getting married, but I don't look forward to it either because it's just legality stuff and the state collects your money for a certificate.

Female...yes I'm afraid. I'm afraid I'll become a statistic, I'm afraid I'll get "too old" and start to become desperate and rush into something that isn't right and doomed for failure. I'm afraid I won't be together with the person for 25 years like my parents. I'm afraid no one will love me enough to ask me to marry them. I'm afraid I won't love someone enough to say yes if I do get asked.

female i was not afraid to get married i knew my man for a while before we wed and i think that is the best way to go a lot of marriages that fail are because the people never take the time to get to know each other beofre they get hitched

Yes. I'm occassionally afraid of being in a committed relationship, too, even though I've been in one for 2+ years.
I have no plans to get married. My plans right now are weakly leaning toward committed cohabitation.

yeah kinda, but if i find a girl that I love no i wouldn't have a problem gettin married, but on the other hand most people have cold feet about getting married.
