The majority of christians believe in a variation of what you are describing. Only the fundamentalists who cling to a literal interpretation of the bible have a problem with this.
Then again, these are people who believe that bats are birds, rabbits chew the cud, and pi=3.0, so there's no sense in talking to them anyway.

No evolution teaches we just happened on this lone planet.
That is what is unblievable. The human eye is so complex that it never could have evolved. The human cell is even more complex and The universe is just to precise it had to have a creator.
The earth is just the right distance from the sun, just the right place in the galaxie, the moon is just the right size, just the right distance. Then look at the variety of animal and plant life.
We had a very intelligent creator. Who loves us very much.

There is no proof of evolution scientifically. It is only a theory and a poor one at that. While species do change, adapt, and evolve they still remain what they were. A plant remains a plant, a chicken remains a chicken, and humans remain human. We change, or evolve, due to our environment, food, health, etc. but we still are human. And nowhere can you or anyone else find proof, cold hard evidence that shows we descended from an animal.

Yeah, like Spamandham said...it's not a 'real' story. You DID know that, right?
Oh, and a comment on what Anna above said. There is also no proof that the Bible is correct. There is no proof that evolution is wrong. There is no proof that Jesus exsisted or was anything more than a mortal man....etc, etc.

There really is no way to reconcile evolution and Genesis in any sensible way if you insist on keeping the story literal. It's much simpler to recognize Genesis for what it is, alegorical rather than literal.
oh dear Ra, danjean, do some research!

They could have evolved in a weird way, Why don`t you just ask Him that question he`s the one that knows, and if He won`t tell u He probably has a reason. I have the same question and I`ve put it on my list of things to ask God when I get there, along with, Why He made cockroaches?

No, I don't think that!!!
Adam and Eve were created in God's image. God is not an ape.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created him.
Genesis 1:27
Evolution is a theory with so many holes you could sow a tapestry!
Don't believe the hype!

I think you are wondering about theistic evolution, or evolutionary creationism. This idea is not rejected by major religions. Check the source.
