ANOTHER BRANDY NEW, BOGUS ACCOUNT --- DON'T YOU EVER GET TIRED OF THIS????

In an ideal world, we would all be excited about stepping into the unknown. In reality, however, the unknown can be unsettling.

One of the best ways to get ...and stay...motivated is to approach learning as a challenge, much like you would approach a new video game. With a new game, you are determined to explore all the levels, master all the challenges and tromp your best friend's score, true? You even get friends together to analyze strategies.

School can be approached the same way. Look for the unique and interesting in every class and every person. Avoid going the easy way (it's probably booby-trapped in the video game, right?) and remember to analyze various strategies.

Like your video game, your school day has a reset button. By that, I mean do not carry the difficulties of the day over into the next day. Deal with it or let it go, but do not carry it forward. It will only weigh you down and inhibit your ability to traverse the course.

Above all, enjoy...laugh...play. And don't let concerns over the next level keep you from enjoying this one.

Mostly because I just want to be out of the house and see my friends, but also because I'm taking some awesome electives along with advanced classes, so I can't wait for the challenge and new friends that come with a new school. I'm phyched!

My son is!
A brand new experience! A grown up perspective!

As a prior GEEK..
It may not be fun while you are there but the Reunions are HILARIOUS!!
You are skinny, smart and have money!! The popular people (that were, they thought), for the most part, are fat, stupid and poor!!

It is WONDERFUL to look back at the HORRIBLE people in High School and see them as they are today!

Life is Wonderful!

Please, give what you want to get! Do not be mean to anybody in your school! Eventually, you will get what you give!!

of course!!! An opportunity to meet new people and make new friends and try new things. Don't be shy and don't be afraid of other people. If you are nervous ... they probably are too... And the people that make fun of others all the time usually end up bagging your groceries or cutting your lawn when you are older. So don't sweat it!

Yeah. Otherwise, you'll never make it out alive. College is where you'll really find yourself. Make that your goal, to make HS a little easier.
