I just started a new diet 300-1000 calories a day.
I'm on my 5th day... and I've lost 7 pounds.
Is that unhealthy???

Yes very very unhealthy, its going to turn out bad for you, your body is going to start to hold on to fat instead of buring it, you need at least 2000 calories and exercise!

Yest it is. Diets don't usually work. That is because diets tend to cut off some of the nutrients your body needs every day like carbs. Then later on people who've been on a diet tend to gain more weight than they lost because they were hungry for the nutrients their body has lacked. So once the diet is over, they go back to eating the foods that were restricted for them ion the diet, but with bigger consumption. The fact is that diets don't work forever. Take a look at Dr. Atkins, the guy behind the atkins diet. He was really overweight before dyong from heart disease. The ultimate way for weight loss is exercise.

I was on a 700 calorie diet and I lost 8 pounds in 3 days. I think it's really unhealthy, but I don't care.

Not necessarily. Usually you will lose about 5 pounds in the first week when you start a diet, but if you keep losing at that rate then it is unhealthy. You should talk to your doctor before starting on any weight loss diets, have the doctor refer you to a registered dietician so insurance will cover the cost and they will set you up on a truly healthy diet.

Good luck!

300 calories is far too restrictive. It will cause your body to break down and feed on tissues other than fat. Kiss your healthy metabolism goodbye after week 2 or 3.

Raise your minimum to 800 or more. Less than 1200 isn't often recommended by professionals, but you don't seem very interested in what the professionals think.

It is OK very short term, it is similar to fasting which many people do for a period of time for religious reasons. However, you will lose muscle this way, when you really want to lose fat. You should generally consume at least 1200 calories a day or your body will eventually go into starving mode and your metabolism will slow dramatically.

doesn't sound unhealthy but you may notice that you start getting tired if your missig out on nutrients and protein. Usually it's healthy to lose about 1-2 lbs a week... losing it too fast can be dangerous if your neglecting a healthy diet.

3,500 is a pound, so 300 - 1000 calories isn't even half.
believe it or not but eating keeps us alive and active.
weight in pounds doesn't allways equal results you could be losing muscle tissue, bones or energy. and when you lose muscle it turn into fat (loose skin) my advice is don't rush it eat more and incorporate exercise like cardio , and strength training to keep the muscle but lose the fat.

depends on how much weight you need to lose. and unless you are just sitting around the house you need more calories than that. 1200 at least. the normal female needs 1600-1800 and the normal male needs 1800-2000.

That is EXTREMELY unhealthy. You're UNDEREATING and you're giving yourself complications. Now dear, how about talking to a doctor?

OH WAIT! I FORGOT! YOU'RE TOO DUMB TO TALK TO A DOCTOR BECAUSE... "Lol wtfbbqlolmao!1!!1" you're a wannabe anorexic/bulimic! HAHAHAHA. Idiots. It's a mental disorder. Am I speaking English, dumbass bastards?

I really need to find that picture of the bulimic girl whose stomach ruptured and she died. Over a toilet. Heck yes.
